Canvassing Supplies

One of the best grassroots techniques to get a constituent's vote is to visit them in person. Whether a volunteer or the cadidate personally is doing the canvas you need to have some leave behinds ready so the voter knows who was calling on their door.

To paraphrase America Coming Together's canvassing guidelines:

1. Move Quickly. Cut you conversations short, let your literature fill-in the details.
2. Know Your Rights. Canvassing is protected free speech, minimize stops by police or community watchers by wearing logoed apparel or carrying other identifiable items for your campaign such as tote bags or literature for your campaign.
